New York, NY – Avison Young’s New York office is pleased to announce Lauren (Werther) Hayes’ promotion to Director and Market Leader for the New York Project Management region. As Director & Market Leader, Hayes will continue to develop opportunities and grow client relationships across the New York region and metropolitan area. She will also manage the New York Project Management team and provide project governance and oversight, with the primary objective of delivering quality service and value to Avison Young clients.“Lauren has steadily increased her role, scope of assignments, and overall growth within our Project Management platform since joining our firm and has consistently demonstrated tremendous leadership through the delivery of substantial client projects along with major accounts,” said Steven Silverstein, Principal and Managing Director, U.S. Studio, Project, and Construction Management. “Given her deep understanding of the market, we consider Lauren to be the ideal leader for the New York region.”
Hayes joined Avison Young in 2012 following a high-profile career including positions at The Walsh Company, where she managed many complex commercial interiors projects, and Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was responsible for the valuation and sales marketing of commercial buildings in the Tri-State market. Notable career achievements include the interior/exterior renovation and vertical expansion at 125 Barclay Street in New York for District Council 37, completing ADAPT’s 180-000-square-foot (ft) ground-up facility at 80 West End, New York, and completing the build-to-suit, 12-story headquarters for Panasonic at 2 Riverfront Plaza in Newark, NJ.
“Providing value to our clients is at the core of the leadership and Project Management team’s mission,” said Dorothy L. Alpert, Principal and Tri-State President. “As our teams grow and experience deepens, Lauren’s persistent focus and alignment of leadership will position Avison Young for continued success.”
“It’s thrilling to step into a new position at Avison Young and bring my experience with this team to a renewed focus on delivering the best services for our clients,” said Hayes.
