Avison Young bolsters capital markets capabilities across Las Vegas and California

James Griffis named as Principal based in the firm's Las Vegas office
Las Vegas, NV – Avison Young has announced the addition of James Griffis as Principal in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Griffis provides capital markets advisory and execution expertise for planned and existing assets on behalf of corporate occupiers, developers and owners in the Las Vegas and California markets.

Griffis has been involved in every facet of the growing range of needs of his clients across office and industrial sectors throughout his 12-year career. Over the last decade, he successfully executed more than 1,500 sale and lease transactions valued in excess of $800 million.

Prior to joining the Avison Young, Griffis served as First Vice President at CBRE for eight years, where he specialized in the industrial and office sectors with the capital markets group. While there, his work included portfolio optimization through lease versus own analysis, transaction structuring services, execution of property acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leasebacks, and build-to-suit leases.
James is a graduate from University of Southern California where he earned a degree in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. He is also an active member of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
