“We are thrilled to welcome this talent to our existing team of outstanding capital markets leadership, not only in Montreal but across the entire country,” said Mark Rose, Chair and CEO, Avison Young. “Mark, Sebastien, Yann and Marie-Claire have been among the top producers in Canada over the past five years – and with access to our broader team of industry experts and data platform, AVANT by Avison Young, we believe they will be even better positioned to deliver superior results and solutions for clients.”

Sinnett, Gatti, Charles, and Laflamme-Sanders will be responsible for significantly enhancing Avison Young’s Capital Markets practice in Quebec, working closely with private and institutional clients to maximize their real estate investment decisions, with focus on retail, office, multi-family and industrial assets.

“Expanding and building upon the strength of our capital markets team in Montreal and across the country is an important step for our business and a critical part of our growth strategy in Canada, allowing us to enhance our value to clients,” said Mark Fieder, Principal and President, Avison Young Canada.

“This powerhouse Capital Markets group here in Montreal will seize upon local opportunities, bringing a deep knowledge of Quebec’s commercial real estate landscape that enables us to accelerate our growth in the province and beyond,” said Jean Laurin, President of Avison Young in Quebec.

For more than 22 years, private and institutional clients have trusted Sinnett to maximize the value of their real estate investment portfolios via strategic acquisition and disposition of properties. He is lauded for his leadership and in-depth knowledge of the Quebec market, having facilitated more than 650 transactions totaling more than C$5 billion.

With more than 10 years of experience, Gatti specializes in major multi-family and office transactions and has established himself as a trusted partner of some of the leading multi-family owners in Canada. Since 2016, he has closed on over C$1.5 billion in investment transactions representing more than 9,000 units.

With 15 years of management experience, Laflamme-Sanders plays a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that enable the team to scale and grow. She has overseen over $5 billion in investment transactions across the multifamily, office, retail, and industrial sectors.

“I am excited to join Avison Young and partner with colleagues across the organization to grow the Capital Markets practice in Quebec,” said Sinnett. “I look forward to leveraging the firm’s leading-edge technology platform and real-time data to unlock value for clients, and to provide them with innovative investment solutions.”
