As Director, Project Management, Bob Filbert is responsible for oversight and administration of construction projects, tenant improvements and capital projects for Avison Young’s Central and Western Regions.

Bob has 30+ years of CRE experience and a comprehensive background in construction management, covering commercial, warehouse, retail, multifamily, senior living, healthcare projects, defense contractors and labs. During his career he has overseen national and global construction projects ranging in scope from mechanical upgrades to complete building renovations in excess of $20 million.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Bob most recently served as Executive Vice President of Project Management for a national CRE firm in their Central & West Regions. His experience also includes nine years as the Director of Engineering for the Dallas area with a well-known international CRE firm. In this capacity, he was responsible for commercial and industrial property contracts along with capital projects and tenant improvements.

Mr. Filbert has extensive training in building due diligence, five-year capital plans, building/facility start-ups including chillers and variable frequency drives, cooling tower operation and maintenance, elevator control and operation, fire alarm system operation and maintenance, water treatment, load curtailment and switchgear operation and maintenance, centrifugal chillers and plumbing systems operation.
