With more than two decades of experience working in the commercial real estate industry, Michael Vullis is a Principal overseeing a 25 million-square-foot property management portfolio for the Florida region. This portfolio consists of 79 clients with a blend of office, retail and industrial properties. Avison Young has offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, and Savannah. Mr. Vullis also serves in the State of Florida as a receiver having provided services to prestigious financial institutions for over one million square feet of assets. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Vullis worked for Flagler Real Estate Services for 17 years serving as Senior Vice President of Property Management for  Flagler Real Estate Services, LLC (FRES), Flagler’s third-party brokerage and property management division and oversaw property management services for more than 24 million square feet of space.

Prior to joining Flagler, Mr. Vullis served as Vice President – Controller with Equitable Real Estate/Compass Management & Leasing, where he was responsible for all financial and asset management reporting for the South Florida office as well as for the Washington D.C. office.  During that time Mr. Vullis served as Financial Asset Manager for over 3 million square feet of space.

Credentials

Mr. Vullis attended Queens College in New York, NY where he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Active in industry associations, Mr. Vullis is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) where he continues to serve on the sustainable committee.  Additionally, he is affiliated with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).   Mr. Vullis served as the national trainer for Compass Management & Leasing on best practices utilized throughout the company.  Currently, he continues to function as a regular panelist on South Florida forums for best practices in property management.
