Dave Gonzales is responsible for all business aspects of Avison Young Project Management services throughout the Western Region, which includes San Francisco, Sacramento, Seattle, Portland and Denver. With more than 32 years of experience in real estate development and project/construction management, Dave has successfully directed projects in excess of 1 billion square feet throughout the country, including the Eastern, Southwest, Central, and Western regions.  His expertise includes all phases of the development and construction process, including strategic planning, site selection, entitlements, and project management. 

His additional skills encompass facility due diligence studies, design and construction contract negotiations, and administration. Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Gonzales was the Managing Director of CBRE’s Project Management for Northern California, Sacramento, and Reno. While at CBRE, Mr. Gonzales managed over 125 staff and $2.2B in total project costs over a 10 year period. Mr. Gonzales was also the original founder of CMG8, LLC, a development and project management company in San Francisco, where he was responsible for providing third-party consulting services for development and project management services on behalf of clients in the commercial sectors nationally.
