Avison Young negotiates 40,529-sf industrial lease with Trackman Golf in Phoenix Space incorporates several sustainable/ESG tenant improvements February 28, 2024

Phoenix, AZ – Avison Young announced today it has negotiated a 7-year, 40,529-square-foot (sf) industrial lease with Trackman Golf, located at 525 E Pinnacle Peak Road in Phoenix. Trackman Golf, a Danish sports technology company known for its radar-based tracking systems, specializes in providing accurate data analysis for golf, baseball, and other sports – aiming to create a better game for everyone involved in those sports. The company will use the space for operations, warehouse shipping and receiving, customer support, R&D, and training purposes.

Dominic Perry with Avison Young represented Trackman Golf. James Cohn of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, The Mack Company.

Trackman has now relocated and is occupying 24% of the property. The company has almost quadrupled its previous space which totaled 11,700 sf in Scottsdale.

“There was a lack of options for Trackman’s size requirement in the Scottsdale market,” said Perry. “This Class A Phoenix facility presented an ideal fit for its renovation plans. The ownership and the listing broker were integral in making this deal happen within a compressed timeframe.”

The new location allows Trackman to minimize its third-party logistics (3PL) usage thus lowering its carbon footprint and increasing the ability to control the supply chain.

“Moving to our new office has allowed us to run our operations more centralized and efficient on a day-to-day basis,” said Martin Ring, Senior Vice President of Operations at Trackman. “We expect that this move will enable us to optimize internal processes, create a better working environment for our staff and ultimately better serve our customers.”

Other sustainable/ESG improvements to the facility include inserting large windows in the hallway allowing for more natural light to the interior of the office space, removal of most office doors for more interactive space, replacing all lights with LED for a more natural light feel, and refurbishing common areas instead of complete demolition and rebuilding.

The new warehouse space now allows the staff to work entirely indoors whereas their previous space required some labor outdoors. By having more space, the warehouse is air conditioned and contained which is better for employees and reduces risk of damage or theft.

With move-in completed, Trackman is now working on the second phase of its relocation which includes office space build-out. The third and final phase will include the installation of up to 10 EV charging stations.
