Meghann Martindale leads retail market intelligence for Avison Young. She provides practical application of her over 20 years of vast experience in commercial real estate including brokerage, leasing and development to her market intelligence, portfolio optimization, and thought leadership.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Meghann was the Head of Retail Research of Madison Marquette and responsible for building the retail research and thought leadership platform to support the firm’s leasing, property management, and investment teams. 

Previously, Meghann served as the Global Head of Retail Research for a top global firm. She has also held key leasing and development positions with Related and Simon Property Group executing on 15 million square feet of retail and mixed-use properties across the United States.

Meghann is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves on the North American Research Group. She was an Adjunct Professor and is a frequent guest lecturer at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. She is passionate about the evolution of retail, leadership, education, training, and development.  Meghann graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University.
