Job postings in Greater Los Angeles region at lowest level since March 2020 as remote job postings double in two quarters

Job postings volume has been on a steady decline since July of 2022. October 2023 recorded the lowest post volume since the Pandemic, with only 96,000 postings. The decline in office-using job postings in the Greater Los Angeles area suggests that either positions have filled or are no longer needed due to cost-cutting initiatives or right-sizing efforts. More than 10% of job listings are remote only, compared to just 6% of postings in July of 2023.
