As Vice President of Retail Property Management, Ms. Young is responsible for overseeing all facets of retail property management including managing the individual center team.  She is the liaison between owners/stakeholders and the Chicago and Atlanta retail teams (Accounting and Human Resources).  With areas of expertise, well established in property management/operations, marketing and development; her ability to transverse between disciplines while implementing effective communication and reporting to all stakeholders ensures success for both ownership and retail partners.

Ms. Young began her retail career in1988 on the retailer’s side with Nordstrom parlaying to the landlord/developer side; employed by industry giants including Simon, The Mills Corporation, and Prime Retail. Jackie led efforts in management, marketing, specialty leasing and sponsorship arenas by developing strategic goals and initiatives ensuring optimal results for the companies. Additionally, responsible for strategic Grand Opening marketing plans, operating, marketing, sponsorships, CAM budgets, development and construction budgets and milestones associated with each.

Ms. Young brings a combined twenty-seven years of retail experience inclusive of the retailer and developer/landlord perspectives in both mainline and outlet retail to Avison Young. The last sixteen years, have been spent engrossed in the outlet retail sector in both consumer and business marketing while developing, strategizing and leading property marketing and management disciplines at various, nationally known outlet centers. Jackie’s focus and commitment, as it was in the beginning, is driven by notion of being wholly responsible for the respective asset ensuring optimal functionality within each discipline (marketing, management, leasing), along with maximizing the return on the investment for all stakeholders.
