Greg Turkot joined Avison Young as an Associate Director within  AY’s Consulting Group (Industrial, US). Greg’s focus and responsibility encompasses providing services to clients in the commercial and industrial sectors while also growing the consulting business and client base across North America. Since joining the organization, Greg has focused on support of a large automotive client with a plan for a $200MM campus optimization project. He will continue to engage with commercial leadership to support consulting, development and program management needs aligned with Avison Young’s strategic business planning.

Greg has over 30 years of experience leading clients through project development, economic and optionality analysis, optimization of contracting teams and strategies and project execution for complex manufacturing and industrial facilities. Greg’s background and contemporary experience enables him to provide the following services to Avison Young clients:

  • Program management, management of change and development support
  • Process integration and optimization
  • Quality assurance oversight
  • Project risk assessment / risk management
  • Contracting strategies / team development
  • Project governance 
  • Digital tools and data management

Prior to joining Avison Young, Greg served as a Global Capability Leader for a large float glass manufacturer based in Detroit, optimizing execution process workflows, and providing oversight for plant re-build and upgrade projects valued from $100 to $250 million. He has served as a General Manager for a $50 million engineering, construction, and inspection company (regional office in Detroit). Greg has led efforts focused on capture planning and business development in support of client capital expenditure efforts in North America including the development of project execution teams.
