With over a decade of professional experience working as an Interior Designer, Veronica Soltysik brings a multi-faceted and humanistic design element to the table at Avison Young as a Senior Interior Designer. She approaches every project starting from the ground up, assessing the building and its site orientation, then moving on to the planning of the interior space while ensuring the building's innate qualities are maximized. The project's tailored programming needs and design concept are simultaneously folded into the mix, producing a space that fully supports the client's needs and vision. Psychology and the nature of human interaction within the built environment are driving factors in her design work, and she always puts the user experience first and foremost which ensures each project is successfully executed.

In addition to designing for corporate and hospitality projects, Veronica has additional experience with restaurant and healthcare projects and has an added specialty in lighting design and specification. Although these are different design sectors, human occupants are a common factor in all of them, which ultimately means that every project provides a valuable experience that can be carried on to the next.

As Veronica is always eager to learn, she continues to research psychology as it relates to interior design and attends continuing education courses, trade shows, and industry events to ensure she is constantly growing and evolving as a designer.
