Jennifer Vaux joined Avison Young’s Silicon Valley office in November of 2017. Jennifer was one of the original five members that opened the Silicon Valley office, Avison Young’s fifth Bay Area office and eleventh in California. As part of the team, Jennifer has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s research and marketing platform.
Jennifer was appointed the U.S. Director of Research in April 2020 and leads the U.S research team as well as managing all U.S. research inquiries. She, along with Avison Young’s U.S. Research Leadership team are responsible for strategizing and implementation of research initiatives companywide. In collaboration with the Global Leadership team, she works to produce global and national thought leadership content for Avison Young’s Global and U.S. reports.
Jennifer is also responsible for tracking and analyzing economic and market data for the firm’s Northern California offices. She provides research and marketing support to Avison Young’s Northern California Region and the lead on U.S research inquiries. Assisting and strategizing with marketing staff and brokerage teams in the development of marketing packages, client presentations and broker opinion of value; she is an integral part of the Avison Young team. A Bay Area native, she brings a depth of first-hand market knowledge and a local perspective to the research process.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Jennifer worked at Colliers International as the Research Director and oversaw their Northern California research teams. Prior to Collier International, she was the Research Manager at Cornish and Carey (Newmark Knight Frank), managing and mentoring the research teams in their 13 Bay Area offices.
Jennifer is a member of CREW Silicon Valley (Woman in Commercial Real Estate). She is an active volunteer for the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers (ASVB) as well as in her community. She is the President of the Bagby Home and School Club within the Cambrian School District; an organization bridging the home and school to enhance the educational experiences of students by providing services and resources to foster academic excellence and by helping to raise money to improve technology in the classrooms. Jennifer is also a youth soccer coach for the South Bay Youth Soccer league.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from San Jose State University in California.
